Microsoft’s Windows operating system has long been the standard solution for PCs at home and in the office.
Upgrading to a new operating system can be costly, especially because of the time your team needs to get familiar with the changes – lost time means lost productivity. CT Academy offers you or your team courses that enable a seamless migration without compromising business continuity.
The switch from Windows 10 to Windows 11 in one day. You get to know the new interface, set up the Start menu and taskbar to suit your way of working, and use Snap layouts, virtual desktops and the new search productively. This also covers what's new in Explorer, in Settings and in Microsoft Edge, as well as the key security features. The aim is that you can carry on working without friction after the course day.
In this course you install and configure Windows 11 for enterprise use. You plan editions and hardware, carry out clean installs and upgrades, join devices to Active Directory or Microsoft Entra ID, manage them with Group Policy, and use the security features of Windows 11. Management with Microsoft Intune is covered at an overview level and explored in depth in course MD-102.
When Windows 11 fails to start, users cannot sign in, or updates fail, a systematic approach is what counts. You get to know the diagnostic tools in Windows 11 and narrow down faults in startup, hardware, networking, identity, applications and updates – locally, remotely and in environments with Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID and Intune. Many exercises show typical fault patterns from everyday support work.
Use Windows 11 confidently and efficiently in everyday work – in just one day. You get to know the interface, work with the Start menu, taskbar, Snap Layouts and virtual desktops, reliably find files and settings again, and set up the system to suit the way you work. The course is aimed at users, not administrators.
