Our Exchange courses
Email is the one application whose failure the whole company notices immediately. Running Exchange means being responsible not just for mailboxes but also for calendars, distribution lists, permissions, archiving and a good part of the defence against phishing and spam. Our courses are aimed at administrators who want to run an existing environment securely or prepare the move to the cloud.
“Exchange Server SE – Administration and Migration” covers operating the current on-premises version, including the upgrade from older generations. “Microsoft 365 Messaging – Exchange Online Administration” covers administration in Microsoft 365: mailboxes and permissions, mail flow, threat protection and hybrid scenarios in which on-premises and cloud mailboxes coexist. Both courses work with lab environments rather than slides.
Exchange Server 2016 and 2019 have been out of support since 14 October 2025, and the paid ESU programme ends on 31 October 2026 – after that there are no more security updates. This five-day course takes you from stocktaking to ongoing operation on Exchange Server SE: migration paths, installation, administration, hardening and the hybrid changes that Microsoft forced through in 2025 and 2026. Hands-on course without certification – Microsoft has neither a course nor an exam for Exchange in its programme.
Messaging administrators are responsible for managing hygiene, the messaging infrastructure, hybrid configuration, migration, transport, mailboxes and client access. Messaging administrators work with the security administrator and the Microsoft 365 enterprise administrator to implement a secure hybrid or cloud-only topology that meets an organisation’s business requirements.
