VMware is one of the most established virtualisation platforms in the data centre. Multiple servers run on shared hardware, can be moved during live operation and provisioned within minutes – provided that resources, networking and storage have been properly planned.
In our VMware courses, you work hands-on in a virtualisation environment. You create and manage virtual machines, set up virtual networks and storage connections, use templates and snapshots, and deal with high availability, live migration and backup and recovery.
VMware vSphere is the platform for running virtualisation in the data centre: ESXi as the foundation on the hardware, vCenter for central management. If you master both, you can run an environment that can be centrally controlled, monitored and expanded.
In our vSphere courses, you set up an environment from scratch. You install and configure hosts, manage them via vCenter, set up networks and shared storage, work with resource management and permissions, and implement procedures for availability and maintenance during live operation.
