Microsoft 365 Copilot for Power Users

For everyone who wants to go beyond the basic functions: Agent Mode in Word, Excel and PowerPoint, building your own agents with Agent Builder, an introduction to Copilot Studio, and the question of which recurring workflows are actually worth automating.

Two days, mostly hands-on at the keyboard. The course does not lead to a certification, but content-wise it prepares you well for AB-620, should you want to take that path later.

Course Content

Day 1 – Deeper into the Applications

  • Agent Mode in Word, Excel and PowerPoint: what it does differently from standard Copilot
  • Deliberately referencing files, emails and meetings as context
  • Consciously controlling model choice and reasoning level
  • Saving recurring Excel workflows as your own skills
  • Copilot Pages for collaborating on AI results
  • Limits in detail: file formats, calculation options, checking out in SharePoint

Day 2 – Your Own Agents

  • Which agents Microsoft provides out of the box: Researcher, Analyst and the coach agents
  • Creating declarative agents with Agent Builder
  • When an agent needs to access tenant data and what that triggers
  • Getting started with Copilot Studio: topics, knowledge sources, actions
  • Testing, publishing and retiring agents
  • Understanding the cost model: which usage costs something and which does not
  • Selection criteria: which processes are suitable for an agent and which are not

Experienced Microsoft 365 users, key users, process owners, and anyone who is to act as the point of contact for Copilot within the organisation.

Confident use of Copilot in the Microsoft 365 applications, ideally our course “Microsoft 365 Copilot in Everyday Work” or equivalent hands-on experience. Programming knowledge is not required.

You use Agent Mode productively, build your own agents with Agent Builder, know the basics of Copilot Studio, and can assess which workflows in your area can be sensibly automated.

You receive a certificate of attendance from CT Academy AG. This course does not lead to a vendor certification — it is designed for immediate applicability in everyday work. If you are aiming for a certification, we are happy to advise you on the suitable official exams.
