Our Azure courses
In many Swiss companies, Microsoft Azure has become the platform where infrastructure, data and security come together. Anyone with responsibility there needs more than an overview: networks have to be designed, identities managed properly, costs controlled and compliance requirements demonstrably met. Our Azure courses follow the official Microsoft learning paths, use hands-on exercises in real Azure environments and provide targeted preparation for the relevant certification exam.
The entry point is the Fundamentals courses AI-900, DP-900 and SC-900, which put services, terms and pricing models into context. The role-based paths build on these: administration with AZ-104, hybrid server operations with AZ-800 and AZ-801, architecture with AZ-305, networking with AZ-700, virtual desktops with AZ-140, data and analytics with DP-300, DP-600 and DP-700, and security and identity with SC-200, SC-300, SC-400 and SC-100. Every course can be booked as a scheduled public course or as In-House Training on your schedule, online or at your premises on request.
This course introduces fundamental concepts of artificial intelligence (AI) and the Microsoft Azure services used to build AI solutions. The course is not intended to train participants as professional data scientists or software developers, but to build awareness of common AI workloads and the ability to identify Azure services to support them. The course is designed as a blended learning offering that combines instructor-led training with online materials on the Microsoft Learn platform (https://azure.com/learn). The hands-on exercises in the course are based on Learn modules, and participants are encouraged to use the content on Learn as reference material to consolidate what they have learned in the course and explore topics in more depth.
AI-901 is the introduction to artificial intelligence on Azure – in one day and with no prior knowledge required. You learn how generative and agentic AI works, what workloads exist, and how to implement first solutions in Microsoft Foundry. The course prepares you for the AI-901 exam (certification «Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Fundamentals»). AI-901 has replaced the earlier AI-900 exam.
AZ-900T00 provides the fundamentals for getting started with the cloud and Microsoft Azure. Microsoft now runs the course under the name "Introduction to Cloud Infrastructure" and divides it into three parts: cloud concepts, Azure architecture and services, and management and governance. In addition to theory and demonstrations, you create your first resources in hands-on labs via the Azure portal and the command line. The course prepares you for the AZ-900 exam ("Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals" certification).
DP-900 is the introduction to data in the Azure cloud – in a single day and with no prior knowledge required. You learn what types of data exist, when a relational and when a non-relational solution fits, and how analysis and visualisation come together with Microsoft Fabric and Power BI. The course prepares you for the DP-900 exam (certification «Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Fundamentals»).
SC-900 gives you the ideal foundation to be well prepared on the topics of security, compliance and identity concepts in cloud-based Microsoft solutions.
AI-103 is the course for developers who build and run generative and agentic AI solutions on Azure in production. The focus is Microsoft Foundry: agents with function calling and multi-agent orchestration, RAG pipelines, vision, speech and information extraction – including security, monitoring and responsible AI. The course prepares you for the AI-103 exam (certification «Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Apps and Agents Developer Associate») and replaces the former AI-102 course.
AI-200 is aimed at developers who build the foundation under AI applications: containerised services, data storage for AI with Cosmos DB, PostgreSQL and pgvector as well as Azure Managed Redis, event-driven workflows with Service Bus, Event Grid and Azure Functions – plus security, monitoring and troubleshooting. The course prepares you for the AI-200 exam (certification «Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Cloud Developer Associate»). Note: the exam and course materials are currently available in English only.
AI-300 is the MLOps and GenAIOps course: how do you bring machine learning models and generative AI solutions reliably into production and keep them there? Topics include infrastructure as code, training orchestration, model registration and versioning, deployment, monitoring, evaluation and observability, as well as optimising RAG and fine-tuning. The course prepares you for the AI-300 exam (certification «Microsoft Certified: Machine Learning Operations Engineer Associate»). Note: the exam and course materials are currently available in English only.
In this course, IT professionals learn how to manage their Azure subscriptions, create and scale virtual machines, implement storage solutions, configure virtual networks, back up and share data, connect Azure and on-premises sites, manage network traffic, implement Azure Active Directory, protect identities and monitor their solution.
Azure Virtual Desktop brings Windows workstations to the cloud. In this course you plan, build and operate an AVD environment: network and storage, host pools and images, identity and security, FSLogix profiles, application delivery, as well as monitoring and disaster recovery. The course prepares you for the AZ-140 exam (certification «Microsoft Certified: Azure Virtual Desktop Specialty»).
AZ-305 is the architecture course of the Azure certification line. You will learn how to derive a resilient Azure architecture from business requirements – and justify these decisions to the business department and management. The course covers identity and governance, data storage, business continuity and infrastructure. It prepares you for the AZ-305 exam, which leads to the «Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert» certification.
AZ-400 is the course for DevOps engineers who bring development and operations together with Azure DevOps and GitHub. You plan work with Azure Boards and GitHub Projects, build CI/CD pipelines with Azure Pipelines and GitHub Actions, deploy infrastructure as code, embed security checks in the pipeline, and set up monitoring with Azure Monitor. The course prepares you for the AZ-400 exam «Designing and Implementing Microsoft DevOps Solutions»; the «Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert» certification also requires the Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Developer Associate certification.
In this course, participants gain the knowledge and skills required to implement security controls, maintain the security posture, and identify and remediate security risks using various security tools. The course covers scripting and automation, virtualisation, and N-tier architectures in the cloud.
AZ-700 is the networking course of the Azure line. You design and implement the network foundation of an Azure environment: addressing and name resolution, hybrid connectivity via VPN and ExpressRoute, load balancing and application delivery, as well as network security with firewall and WAF. The course prepares you for the AZ-700 exam (certification «Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate»).
DP-300 is the administration course for SQL databases in Azure. You plan and run Azure SQL Database, SQL Managed Instance and SQL Server on virtual machines: deployment and migration, security and compliance, performance analysis and optimisation, automation, and high availability and disaster recovery. The course prepares you for the DP-300 exam (certification «Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate»).
DP-600 is the analytics course on Microsoft Fabric – the path from raw data to a robust semantic model that Power BI reports build on. You prepare data, build star schemas, write advanced DAX and optimise models for enterprise use. The course prepares you for the DP-600 exam (certification «Microsoft Certified: Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate»).
Microsoft Fabric brings data engineering, data warehousing, real-time analytics and Power BI together on a single platform. In DP-700 you use it to build a complete data pipeline: set up workspaces and governance, ingest and transform batch and streaming data, and monitor and optimise the result. The course prepares you for the DP-700 exam (certification «Microsoft Certified: Fabric Data Engineer Associate»).
SC-100 is the architecture course in the Microsoft security line. Instead of configuring individual tools, here you design the overall strategy: Zero Trust, resilience against ransomware, security operations, identity and access architecture, compliance, and securing infrastructure, applications, data and AI workloads. The course prepares you for the SC-100 exam (certification «Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert»).
Learn how to hunt for threats, respond to them and take countermeasures using Microsoft Azure Sentinel, Azure Defender and Microsoft 365 Defender. In this course, you will learn how to mitigate cyberthreats using these technologies. In particular, you will configure and use Azure Sentinel and Kusto Query Language (KQL) to perform detection, analysis and reporting.
This course provides the knowledge and skills required to implement identity management solutions based on Microsoft Azure AD and related identity technologies. This course covers identity content for Azure AD, enterprise application registration, Conditional Access, Identity Governance and other identity tools.
Learn how to protect information in your Microsoft 365 environment. The course helps participants prepare for the Microsoft Information Protection Administrator exam (SC-400).
SC-500 is the successor to AZ-500 and goes significantly further: alongside classic Azure security – identity, networking, storage, servers – the course covers, for the first time, securing AI workloads: Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio agents, Entra Agent ID and Defender for AI. This is complemented by security monitoring with Defender for Cloud, Microsoft Sentinel and Security Copilot. The course prepares you for the SC-500 exam (certification «Microsoft Certified: Cloud and AI Security Engineer Associate»).
