This course gives participants detailed knowledge of the Purchasing, Sales and Warehouse modules as well as logistics-related processes in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. Using practical examples, participants learn how to approach solutions for different cases.
The course covers special activities required in the areas of purchasing, sales and warehouse as well as for assembling items. You will also learn how to use order promising to determine realistic delivery dates. In addition, replenishment management, logistics processes, physical inventory and other areas listed below, such as budgeting and analysing purchases and sales, are discussed.
This course covers the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central application from a user’s perspective. The modules of this practice-oriented course include the functions contained in the standard version of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
The course covers the following topics:
· Using the assembly module for simple assembly processes
· Using the order promising function to give customers a realistic date for their deliveries
· Using the requisition worksheet to get suggested items to replenish
· Reserving items and tracking orders using the demand originator function
· Performing basic warehouse management functions such as goods receipt, put-away, picking and goods issue
· Creating the Intrastat report
· Creating prepayment invoices
· Performing physical inventory with physical inventory journals or physical inventory orders
· Budgeting sales and purchases
· Analysing purchases and sales using analysis reports and analysis by dimensions
