In our data centre courses, you look at how the building blocks work together. You deal with compute and storage resources, network connectivity and segmentation, virtualisation and high availability, as well as backup, recovery and planning maintenance windows during live operations.

In this course, participants examine the key components of a data centre in order to understand the interactions between the different trades and the complexity of a data centre. Participants acquire additional know-how in the most important areas such as power supply, cooling, cabling, lighting and fire protection for their work in the high-availability data centre of the future.
The Certified Data Centre Specialist is a three-day course that brings participants to the level of a suitable sparring partner for suppliers. You will be able to check proposals submitted by vendors for accuracy, effectiveness and efficiency. CDCS is aimed at data centre managers and staff and is a prerequisite for the advanced CDCE (Certified Data Centre Expert) certification.
