Scrum is a deliberately lightweight framework for collaborating on complex projects: few roles, fixed events, clearly defined outcomes. The rules are quickly explained – it becomes challenging where they meet established structures and existing decision-making processes.
In our Scrum courses you work with the roles of Product Owner, Scrum Master and Development Team and go through the events from planning to the retrospective. You practise splitting and prioritising backlog items, estimating effort and dealing with impediments during a running sprint.
This training covers the fundamentals of Scrum. Topics include agile principles, artefacts, basic activities and roles. Participants gain an understanding of agile management methods and the processes in Scrum.
This course introduces agile project management. Participants learn the values, principles and methods of Agile and apply Scrum with its roles, responsibilities and processes. They estimate and track Scrum projects and learn about risks, challenges and benefits as well as the critical success factors for adopting Agile.
This course deepens and consolidates knowledge of, and how to work with, the agile framework as well as the Scrum method. Prerequisite: attendance of the EXIN Agile Scrum Foundation course.
Scrum Master Certified (SMC™) professionals have practical, applicable Scrum knowledge that enables them to implement Scrum and work in a Scrum environment. The exam confirms that candidates have sufficiently understood how Scrum is applied in projects and adapted to a specific scenario. SMC™ professionals are facilitators who ensure that the Scrum Team has an environment that supports successful project completion. The Scrum Master guides all project stakeholders, facilitates and teaches them Scrum practices, removes obstacles for the team and ensures that the Scrum processes are followed. Successful candidates receive the Scrum Master Certified (SMC™) certification from SCRUMstudy after passing the certification exam included in the course.
