In our Machine Learning courses, you work through the complete process. You prepare data and select features, train models for regression and classification, assess their quality with suitable metrics and learn to recognise typical pitfalls such as overfitting and biased datasets.
In this course, participants learn general strategies for planning, designing, developing, implementing and maintaining an IoT system through various case studies as well as by assembling and configuring an IoT device for use in a sensor network. Participants build an IoT device based on an ESP8266 microcontroller and implement various common IoT functions such as analogue and digital sensors, a web-based interface, MQTT messaging and data encryption.
