After the course you will be able to:
- distinguish between projects, programmes, portfolios and operations and choose the appropriate approach
- clarify roles within the project and build project plans covering schedule, cost, risk and stakeholders
- manage predictive projects using a work breakdown structure, critical path and variance analysis
- plan iterations and classify agile methods such as Scrum and Kanban
- elicit requirements, prioritise them via roadmaps and validate them at delivery
- prepare specifically for the CAPM exam
People at the start of their project management career, project team members, aspiring project leaders, and professionals from business analysis and specialist departments who want to learn project management on the basis of an internationally recognised qualification.
No project management knowledge is required; initial experience working on projects is helpful.
Eligibility
- Secondary-level qualification (e.g. Matura, vocational diploma or equivalent qualification)
- 23 hours of project management training, completed before the exam
Exam
- 150 questions, three hours of exam time
- Exam domains: project management fundamentals and core concepts, predictive plan-based approaches, agile frameworks and methods, business analysis frameworks
Maintenance
- 15 PDUs within a three-year certification cycle
